Today April 19th marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the State of Israel. There's been surprisingly little fanfare in the UK media thus far, although it is shortly before 10 AM as I write this. Give it time. We may yet be treated to a plethora of pathetic political virtue signalling before the day is out. So Israel is 70 then. The Telegraph, an eminently pro-Zionist publication, did invite the Israeli President Reuven Rivlin to pen a piece for them today. Rivlin obliged and filled his column with as much horseshit as you'd expect to find at the top ten rodeos in Texas. The Telegraph puts most of its content behind a paywall these days, so I thought I'd share with you some of the more ludicrous claims of the Israeli President. Incidentally, the article is headed; Israel Needs The West Now More Than Ever. And there I was thinking that the country was doing fine and dandy thank you, in its endeavours to torture, murder and displace the indigenous and righteous people of Palestine. There are some predictably hilarious claims by the President in the article. He writes;

For nearly three-quarters of a century, this nation, Israel, has held high the torch of freedom and equality in a difficult region. In Israel, we remain committed unequivocally to defending our people: defending their safety and security, as well as freedom and equality. Our commitment to the values of free speech, diversity of opinions, and freedom of religion is the cornerstone of Israel as a Jewish and as a democratic state – Jewish and democratic in one utterance and without any contradiction.

He must have made wee wee on himself while writing that old tosh eh? He must've laughed so hard! I suppose they do practice an equality of sorts. It doesn't matter how old or young you are, whether you are male or female, how tall or how small, how religious you are or are not.....if you're a Palestinian they will readily steal your land, kidnap your children and shoot you in the face at the drop of a hat. And as for freedom of speech pleeeeease!! Is this the Israel that uses its agents overseas to lobby for the criminalising of the BDS movement and seeks to have speakers and musicians banned from venues simply because they condemn the above? Free speech? Really? Is this the Israel that through its Hasbara programme regularly libels and smears journalists, academics, writers and others who dare question the evil subjugation of the rightful people of Palestine?

The dung kept dropping all over The Telegraph today. Rivlin also claims;

These are difficult times in many places around the globe – perhaps no more so than in the Middle East. But today, we also look warily at Europe where the spectre of anti-Semitism is not so much raising its head, but in full sight – even for those determined not to see it. Israel is by no means compensation for the Holocaust, but is certainly the definitive answer to the crimes committed against our people. As a seventh generation Jerusalemite, whose family returned from Europe more than a century before even the First World War, Israel represents for me the knowledge that never again will the Jewish people be left defenceless. Never again indeed.

I've outlined in previous articles how claims of an escalation of Jew hatred are mere fantasy. It's a nonsense. And while he may be right in saying that Israel is no compensation for the Holocaust (Zionist plans for Palestine go way way back), the fact is that the Holocaust has been rolled out time and again to suppress questioning or criticism of the Zionist Apartheid regime. Remind them that if anyone wants to truly understand what the Nazis did to Jews and others in the concentration camps, they need only come to Gaza. That really pisses them off, mostly because it is true.

Israels only claim to legitimacy is the Bible. It's in the Bible!!! Remember Golda Meir's statement? "This country exists as the accomplishment of a promise made by God Himself. It would be absurd to call its legitimacy into account." Yes indeedy, a biblical promise has served as the justification for 70 years of mass murder, torture, kidnapping, false imprisonment and stealing folks homes. Now Zionists will also claim international recognition as proof of legitimacy, yet this too is a nonsense. The Balfour Declaration remains completely illegitimate as Palestine never belonged to Britain in the first place, therefore what right did she have to promise a homeland for the Jews?

So happy anniversary then to the murderous, vicious and lawless Apartheid state of Israel. Fill your boots today and party hard. For 24 hours at least, put down your guns and leave the Golan Heights, Syria and Iran alone. But most of all, for today anyway, give the Palestinians a break. God knows they could use one.
