Moscow is becoming more and more suspicious that the UK was responsible for the attack on Sergei and Yulia Skripal, according to Russian Ambassador to the UK Alexander Yakovenko. “We have very serious suspicion that this provocation was done by British intelligence,” Yakovenko told Russia’s NTV channel. He acknowledged that Russia has no proof of this suspicion, but alluded to the bizarre behaviour of the UK government since the Skripal's were found unconscious on a bench in Salisbury last month. The Britons are claiming a leading role in the so-called containment of Russia. To win support from the people and the parliament for this containment of Russia, a serious provocation was required. And the Britons may have done a really savage one to get this support,” said Yakovenko.
The behaviour of the UK government has been (and continues to be) bizarre for sure. Within minutes of the news breaking, that a former Russian double agent and his daughter had been taken to hospital after collapsing on a supermarket bench, we began to hear talking heads on UK TV and radio claim that Putin did it. I'm not joking, they were blaming Putin within the hour. We got Toxic Tory Tom Tugendhat, Israel's man in Westminster, he who chairs the Foreign Affairs Committee on our TV and radio stations morning, noon and night. Tom said Russia did it, despite the police saying that they hadn't a Scooby Doo what had happened. Tugendhat wasn't alone. We had nearly 10 days of non-stop news reports featuring people who knew that Russia was behind it, telling us to remember Alexander Litvinenko and all that jazz. By the way, I bet you didn't know that Litvinenko's father Walter doesn't believe that Russia was behind his son's death? The UK media had a duty to inform you of that when interviewing Alexander's widow Marina right? Fuck balance though right? As usual, the UK's media repeated everything coming from Whitehall and every single press release about the Skripal's was rinsed and repeated. It was treachery to suggest that we should all wait until the conclusion of the police investigation. Shut up! The Russians did it you Commie bastard!
The poison was Novichok they said, it could only have been made in Russia they said, even though you can buy a book from Amazon that details how to make it. Vil Mirzayanov's book; ‘State Secrets: An Insider's Chronicle of the Russian Chemical Weapons Program.’ contains the formula for the toxin. Theoretically anyone could have bought the $30 book and made the stuff. But forget the book, one of the most farcical elements in terms of how this has been covered is the total reluctance of the UK's media to talk about the Porton Down chemical weapons research facility, situated a short drive from where the Skripal's were found in Salisbury. Porton Down, also known as the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory has a budget of £500m a year and employs more than 3,000 scientists. According to the BBC, It is the most controversial, most misunderstood and, some say, most-feared scientific institution in Britain. That's right. Sure wouldn't you look there first....wouldn't you? But no, of course not. There was scant mention of the place.
The Organisation For The prohibition Of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) has strict guidelines for investigations of this nature. The accused government is entitled to be consulted every step of the way and they MUST be sent a sample of the alleged nerve agent. The UK said no, a clear violation of the rules. Russia asked for Consular access to the Skripal's and to at least be kept in the loop about the condition of the pair. The UK said no and instead repeated time and again that the Russians did it, finally kicking out Russian diplomats and persuading EU countries and the US to do the same. All this continues while those investigating the poisoning haven't the foggiest idea who did it. They can't even reach a consensus as to where it happened! They don't know whether the pair were poisoned at the restaurant, at the bench, at a graveyard or at their front door. It's a farce. You know what? Looking at it without passion or prejudice you can only conclude that agents of the UK's deep state were indeed behind it. Why? Well to embarrass Russia and heap more pressure on the country that has rightly stood by the government of Bashar al-Assad and prevented Western backed radical Islamists taking over Syria and turning it into another Libya. Russia had nothing to gain by poisoning this man and at this time. The UK did though and you don't need to be Lieutenant Columbo to figure that out....
